Purchased a used 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 base model 4.3L V6 in June 2022.
Didn't even have the truck for a month and the service airbag message showed up on my dash. I looked into a lil more and found out it was recalled. I got ahold of my local GMC dealer where I live to have this recall fixed. They said its a big job and we have to order the part. I said no problem order the part and when it arrives book me in to fix it.....they never called me back to say the part was in or book me an appt to get fixed. They almost sounded like it was to big of a job and didn't really wanna do it. I still have heard nothing back from local dealership or GMC. I still have this problem with my truck.
