Took delivery of my new 2015 Sierra 1500 Denali on December 1st 2015, after washing the truck the first time I saw spots in the paint flaking off, I called and ordered a clear bra shield for the whole front of my truck. Was supposed to get it installed the Saturday after Christmas but by that time it had gotten considerably worse to the point that the installer agreed that something bad was wrong. Took back to the dealer and their body shop ran test on the paint that came back showing thin paint on the truck. GM has responded by asking me to allow them to paint my bumper but leave the rest alone and see if it gets worse! The body shop supervisor has been there for 26 years with GM told me it will get a lot worse and in six months the whole truck would need paint!
I want the truck replaced, this truck listed for $63,850 and has every option you can get even upgraded paint color! I want a new truck with a clear shield installed by the dealer, just in case!
