This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on. Technician may find P0324 Diagnostic Trouble Code set. Technician will need to remove the oil pan and inspect the oil squirters for contact. If contact is noted the dealer needs to call General Motors Product Quality Center for a replacement engine.
