Lost oil pressure, had towed to local GMC dealer ,they told me I had bad camshaft bearings and would need to buy a new engine for $8,000.00 dollars. Took it home and fixed it for under $100.00. Replace the VLOM filter and replaced the oil pressure sending unit behind intake manifold. Oil pressure good now. Saved myself $7,900.00 by not taking the advise of the dealer. Terrible diagnostic skills.
