The contact owns a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500. While at a stop sign, the vehicle was in drive and the brake pedal was applied. Through a reflection, the contact noticed that the brake lights were not illuminated. The failure occurred when the brake pedal was applied and then slightly released. The dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure, however, they replaced the brake light switch twice. The failure still persists. The failure mileage was 1,500 and current mileage was 3,500. The consumer stated that the Sierra on the lot had the same defect. Updated 10/31/07
