The dashboard cracked so bad that it eventually fell in. I have a huge hole in front of the steering wheel and cracks all the way across the dash. In addition all the speakers in the vehicle quit working just out of warranty I have not had music in many years in this specific vehicle. Unless there was ever a recall to fix these problems I would never buy a Chevrolet of GMC product. These problems are not isolated to my vehicle I have heard of many others with the same problems.
I'm the type of person that really takes care of everything I own, I noticed a small crack in the dash next to the airbag about two years ago, so, I bought a really nice dash cover to prevent any further damage, a couple of weeks ago I had my windshield replaced and found that under the cover the dash had deteriorated so bad you could literally poke your finger through it. GM needs to step up and fix their problem, wrong material was used. This is my 5th new GM vehicle that I have bought, don't have to be a 6th.
