The contact owns a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. When the brake pedal was depressed at various speeds, the vehicle vibrated without warning. While the vehicle was being serviced for NHTSA campaign number: 06E050000 (service brakes, air), the passenger side hub fractured and was unable to be repaired. The contact stated that the front driver side hub assembly was deemed after market and the repair was denied. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 322,566.
