The contact owns a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that when depressing the brake pedal, he would experience a vibrating or popping feeling. The vehicle was taken and inspected by an independent mechanic, who stated that the anti-lock braking system failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated when braking or driving at relatively low speeds of at least 5 mph, the anti-lock brakes would engage and the contact would have to abrupt braking pressure to stop the vehicle. The dealer advised the vehicle was not under recall and did not provide any further assistance. The failure and current mileages were 28,663.
Loss of traction on wet road, hit rock cut at 50 mph no brake no anti-lock no steering no control. Very thin water on road did not fell slick after crash by hand or my shoes. 8jb
