The resistor went out causing the blower motor and wiring harness to fry itself....867 bucks to fix at Big O Tire (national company)
Found out later, about the recall on 1999-2006 Silverado has the same issues with a bad resistor....Sierra's were NOT included?? I'll bet they use the same parts. Having a hard time finding out if the 2005 Sierra was included in this recall or not
I am really disappointed in the quality that doesn't go into GM products anymore! I baby my truck and it is always stored inside. I only put about 10,000 klms a year on it and would think it would have lasted a lot longer than this before I had any issues.
