There were no warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact repaired the vehicle himself and stated that it was identical to the failures mentioned in the 2005 Sierra K1500 recall. The failure mileage was 31,000 and current mileage was 32,580.

Also, brake line busted which resulted in a near crash into a home. After further investigation, all brake lines leading in the antilock brake component were severally rusted. All brake lines needed to be replaced at a very hefty price.

The dealer made the replacement and no other failures have occurred. The current mileage is 34,025 and failure mileage was 33,000.
