I noticed the sidewall separating while my truck was in the driveway. I haven't driven the vehicle since.

problem #2

Sierra 1500 4WD

  • miles
Running highway speed and had a blow out on right rear tire. The tire split from where the tread starts all the way down the sidewall. The other incident in which the right front tire had a blow out, I was slowing down upon coming off of the highway. The tire damage was almost identical to the previous description. The tire split from the tread all the way down to the sidewall. I do not have the first tire that had a blow out; however, the incident that took place on the highway at 70 mph, I do still have the entire set of tires and several pictures of the damaged tire on the rim. I have replaced these tires, but would like to be informed of any reimbursement from the manufacturer that I may be intitled to, due to these incidents and the current status of recall on these tires.( dot number: Tire size: P265/75/16 )
