This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The truck stopped running while driving, tried to start the truck with no luck. Had it towed to the dealership where they replaced the fuel pump. Truck ra for about a month and then got to where it wouldn't run and now it wont even start. I had it towed back in and they tested the fuel pump and it was good. The dealership researched that year and found that there was a problem with the fuel injector sticking causing it to do that. There was a public service announcement out warning people about this problem with these trucks. The parts are well over $700. Nothing is being done by GM to fix the problem so the truck is not drivable until it gets fixed. GM needs to take responsibility and fix these vehicles since they are aware of the problem.
