42230 - Service Update Bulletin. Vehicles built with a 220 amp (KW5) generator were improperly calibrated with a Non-RVC (Regulated Voltage Control) calibration. The 220 amp generator operating without the RVC calibration does not provide optimal charging performance and in certain conditions may not fully charge the vehicle?s battery.
