Reduced Engine Power with Service Engine Message Displayed and DTC P2263 Set
Condition/Concern
Some customers may comment on vehicle reduced engine power with a Service Engine message displayed.
Upon inspection, a technician may find DTC P2263 set.
This condition may be caused by snow or ice being ingested into the air cleaner housing and accumulating in the air cleaner element, resulting in restricted airflow into the engine.
Recommendation/Instructions
Remove the air cleaner element. Refer to Air Cleaner Element Replacement in SI.
