When driving in inclement weather, like slush and dirty roads in the rain, the dirt collects right where one needs to look to see the side mirrors, making them nearly useless. The back-windows at that point are completely covered in dirt and the rear view mirror cannot be used. I have installed commercially available shields over the door windows but they do not work. This is a serious safety issue and could cause a bad accident, especially with a less experienced driver.
