Bought the van used with the heater not working. Checked the fuses...no problem there.

Went to my dad's and eventually found out that the block heater power wire wasn't properly grounded. We test grounded the connection and the heater worked. So we spliced a grounding wire onto the power cable and the heater now works just fine.

i love this.... ever since i move to Alberta car has problems... no brakes, no power steering, no heter headlights, no signals no oil, no water , no antifreeze no windshield wipers ... goes on and on the worst no winter tires ye no seats hahahah b no heater :(

i am a girl leaning how to fix all this on my own the boyfriend doesn't like anything to do with cars. i need to know if i can get some tips how to fix my heater ...i hear a sound like a stuck fan but heater wont work or blow ...what should i do :) thanks
