While driving at 35 mph front torsion bar broke, causing momentary loss of steering control. Dealer/ manufacturer notifed, and informed consumer that it was out of warranty. Also, not covered under a recall. Repairs have not been done at this time. Feel free to provide further details.
Front torsion bar broke while in parking lot. Vehicle towed to dealer, and manufacturer was notified. Manufacturer informed consumer that vehicle was out of its warranty, and it was not covered under a recall. When replacing the torsion bar, a new style arm had to be installed also. The cunsumer wonders if the old arem was the cause for break down.
The driver's side front torsion bar broke, causing the left side suspension to drop and fall, which may have resulted in loss of vehicle control and a crash.
Consumer had just parked vehicle and heard a noise. Noticed vehicle had fallen to ground. Had it towed to mechanic and put on lift. Told torsion bar had broken, and it was defective. Owner has old parts.
