Usually when I'm doing 60mph or so... If the radio is off you can hear the switch trip on the passenger side, otherwise you can feel it drag a bit more & hear the whine of the transmission as it randomly switches itself from 2wd to 4lo to 4hi... the little LEDs in the buttons are askew in mine so aren't directly in my view so it is hard to see, especially if the sun is in your eyes or directly on the dash...
pretty sure this is not good for the transmission.
