This has to be the nicest looking truck I've owned, but problematic. For starters ever since 30,000 miles I have had worse and worse MPG ratings. I'm at 64,000 miles now and all the sudden I can't get more than 10mpg out of it.

I do the math per every fill up along with my odometer's data. I'm 32 and do not rabbit race my truck stoplight to stoplight, I ease into the gas. I don't accelerate madly up to high speeds either.

This truck sucks on gas. The Linear EGR valve has been a major issue with these trucks for more than 10 years now. GM doesn't seem to be working on a fix for this issue and I'm amazed they don't care. I get 10mpg in the city vs. the rated 17mpg that it SHOULD be getting. My SUV is 7 years old with less than 10,000 miles on it per year. The gas gauges have NEVER been accurate past 1/4 of a tank since 1978 at least... because I have a 1978 Camaro that does the exact same thing.... so that's at least a 23 year problem that they haven't addressed it seems.

Overall build quality of the truck is good, but the problems that arise with so few miles on it make me never desire to own another Chevrolet again or GMC truck.
