Sounds like a potential fault in design. Mine was fixed by the dealer/garage when I purchased the vehicle. It has to do with the security light coming on when it shouldn't and failure of the vehicle to get fuel. There was a chip in the ignition switch. The ignition had to be replaced.
I have already replaced the fuel pump, battery, alternator, and spring coil. Nothing is helping. It will turn over but will NOT START. I don't know what to do except to give it to the junk yard. It's a 1999 and I have only had it for a year when all these problems started occurring.
