Consumer states that while driving without warning the vehicle will accelerate and it will be hard for the consumer to get control of the vehicle to decelerate. Dealer notified.
Consumer stated it was determined by a mechanic that the transmission must be replaced. The extended warranty inspector found salt water in the transmission and determined that the damage to the transmission was not covered. Consumer is filing a dispute of a claim.
There was not a "failre". the transmission roars at initial acceleration. The roar continues through first gear and quits prior to shifting into third gear. The roar is intermittent and so far unpredictible. This occurs during slow acceleration.
