This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The problem as described in bulletin #990602012D occured with my coolant system on the incident date. I had the whole system flushed and new coolant added. On 5/21/03, I had the coolant system flushed again and new dex-cool added. As of today's date 7/14/03, I noticed while having problems with my air conditioning, which may be related, that the dex-cool is almost completly emptied out of the over-flow. I think there is something significantly wrong with the coolant system and needs to be recalled!!! a 5-year antifreeze shouldn't only last 2 months.
Consumer recently had vehicle serviced concerning collant corrosion, consumer was advised that the reservoir for the collant was rusted and instead of an orange color it was a greenish color, therefore coolant had to be flushed out and new coolant added.
