This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
High pressure oil line from motor to oil cooler blew off. All engine oil was dumped onto road which did cause my tires to loose traction. Engine locked up.
Transmission failed at 67,000 miles. Rust on dipstick. Transmission fluid burned. Bought goodwrench transmission and had it installed. This cost $1450. Now this transmission has failed with only 40,000 on it. Same problem as before, rust on dipstick and fluid burned. When I contacted General Motors they said there was nothing they could do. I'm asking for help. I've read several other complaints about rust on dipstick and in transmission. I'm afraid to spend more money on this thinking it might happen again. Pleas look into this. Thank you.
