Engine check light was coming on at 30,000 miles. At 77,000 miles egr valve was replaced. Then, less than 25,000 miles later egr valve needed to be replaced again. Vehicle was running very rough/ stalling at lights, eventually no brakes and a horrible smell when door was opened. Dealer knew there was a problem but has not rectified it.

While driving at 45 mph applied the brakes and they did not work properly. Emission control device check valve failed, causing the brakes not to work properly. Also, brakes were hard. Engine check light light kept coming on.
While driving at 40 mph applied the brakes, and they went straight to the floorboard, causing the consumer to rear end another vehicle. Driver side and the passenger side air bags didn't deploy.
When driving at any speed and applying the brakes, brakes are hard, and the engine check light keeps coming on. Almost lost power steering and brake power. Also, transmission running very rough. Vehicle has been in shop for service, and the dealer can't dete-rmine the problem.
While going about (45) or (50) mph driver lost the steering, brakes and all electrical functions, /happened on 10/26/95. On 10/10/95, while driving, all of a sudden vehicle just shut off, happened again on 10/14/96.
