The fuel tank sensor module on my 2006 GMC Envoy failed causing the tank level indicator to fluctuate and read improperly. The vehicle had only about 41,000 miles on it and was approximately two years old. The fix was to replace the module, at a cost of $700. This is an excessive price for a module that should have lasted longer than two years.
