The contact owns a 2004 GMC Envoy XL. The contact stated that he was unable to open the driver's side window due to the master door switch malfunctioning. The contact stated that he had already replaced the switch twice previously. The manufacturer had not been notified. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 60,000. Updated 12/13/12
The rear window on my 2004 GMC Envoy XL sle has shattered on closing for the second time in three weeks. I have contacted the GM dealer in our area and he denies that there have been any other problems like this with this vehicle make. It is January and the cold could be a factor; however, searches on the internet have revealed that this has happened to others in warmer climates as well.
