: the contact stated the brake lights were loose and became inoperable. A NHTSA recall, #04V527000 was performed on the vehicle concerning, the exterior lighting; brake lights however; the recall did not remedy the problem. The dealership would not offer a second repair under the recall.
: the contact stated while driving 70 mph on the highway the brake light on top of the rear window fell off. The dealer was alerted. Updated 9/20/2006 -
: the contact stated, there have been four failures to the exterior turn signals as well as the brake lights. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for a recall notice where the exterior lights were replaced, but the problem continued. While driving at 35 mph, the left turn signal was engaged before making a left hand turn but the exterior light would not illuminate. The failure of the exterior lights resulted in the contact's vehicle being struck on the drivers side doors causing minor damage. No police report was filed.
