I am a farmer by blood. I buy vehicles. I bought this vehicle for my husband. I have never driven the car much. Although we have had it since 2011, it has less than 100,000 miles on in. I can deal with almost any crap car issue. But when my husband drove though our garage last summer I exploded. He had only a minute amount of alcohol in him from a Birthday Party he had attended. The garage door was closed and he drove through that, and broke out the rear wall of the garage. The garage is attached to our house and by our kitchen. I was in the kitchen with my two dogs. It sounded like an explosion. It was getting dark. When I opened the door to the garage, he was falling on the floor. I thought he was having a stroke.
I called 911. I also called our only son. The dogs were now running wild in the neighborhood, because their fencing had also been damaged. My son came and helped get things situated. Don got a ticket, but luckily wasn't hurt seriously otherwise. Our homeowners insurance would not cover the house damage, but car insurance did get the car back in running order. I am now the one driving this vehicle. I have almost driven through the same garage door because of the fact it is a big engine, top heavy, AND THE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS ARE NOT RIGHT. Your foot slips and slides all over, no matter what shoes you are wearing. I mentioned it to VON HOLZEN's in Ashland where it was purchased. Jeff the owner knows, but shook his head at my and said, "Oh, well, you know government regulations. I wonder how many people have died because of this defect??????????? I think is more that time to lawyer up. Anyone got any good suggestions. I am not getting any younger.. . . . . . Donna Blazek Ashland, Wisconsin.
