The low beam headlights go off by themselves but luckily the bright lights still work Has anyone had this issue fixed if so can you let me know the cost of it?

I am on the road after dark. This mechanical problem is a major issue for me. As I am driving my headlights shut off. This is a scary matter for me. My bright lights work, but I cannot blind the other drivers. I do not know the cost for this problem. I do not want to pay an arm and a leg to get it repaired. Is this a common problem with the Envoy?

It is hard to tell when the problem started since I rarely drive at night. However, I fear I may get caught at night driving down a highway and my lights will turn off as they did on at least 4 different times in the past weeks. Just recently, my right rear brake light was not working but just before replacing the bulb, it was working fine.

I do not believe it is only the lights but a electrical issue because my radio goes off and on as well.

Driving through desert at night ,headlight turning on and off very dangerous. Just one of many problems with GMC Envoy 2007 SLT. Power mirrors don't work,transmission problems , power windows 4500.00 worth of repairs at around 3400 miles most covered under warranty. Way to many problems. Really cant consider another GMC. I have had many GM cars and trucks. But not happy with this one for sure

I was traveling down the road at night & my headlights just went out. My fog lights did still work. I didn't check my high beams. I pulled over checked my switches eventually shut the car off. Re-started It & the headlights came back on. Could be a horrible accident with no headlights. I put the Info Into the computer & I was surprised that there has not been a re-call on this. From what I'm seeing a lot of people are having this problem.
