This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Fuel system: After filling up my 2006 GMC Envoy with fuel my vehicle would not start. It took 2 attempts of turning the ignition in order for my vehicle to start. The fuel meter still continued to read empty. Any time, I would stop and restart the vehicle, I had the same issue. I called onstar to provide me with a goodwrench diagnosis on the vehicle and they stated the diagnosis was the fuel system. Onstar stated the vehicle needed to be serviced within 7 days. I noticed there was an investigation for this same issue that was opened on January 7, 2010.
