Well, just searching around the internet proves that this is a widespread problem. Apparently the relay for the secondary air injection system is right next to the air pump, and very easily gets water in it, wet, and/or frozen in cold climates and can then fail. From what I understand will then cause components in the engine and related systems to not warm up properly and can cause cold-weather starting problems and several other things. Another failure from GM to design and create quality parts that the consumer has to later pay for. The vehicle would still run, but caused even worse fuel economy and rough cold-weather starting. Thanks for nothing GM. Maybe this is why your corporation filed for bankruptcy. Nobody wants to buy your crap anymore!
