well I called GMC dealer Win Kelly, they denied there were any widespread issues or recalls on my vehicle and couldn't say why all these issues are coming up without looking at the vehicle.

in addition to the muffler issue, the fuel light remains on, the speedometer intermittently just stops working, and recently, my car started overheating inb a traffic jam, that's definitely new, wish I never bought the car.
