First time owning a vehicle the exhaust manifold cracked. 30 plus years of owning or working on vehicles and this is the first I have ever seen this one.

The manifold on any vehicle should never go bad. Pictures says it all, GM must recall and fix.

Cracked manifold started when it sounded as if the muffler was cracked or had a problem. Took to have muffler fixed and they said it was not the muffler. . . .kept getting louder and louder and the gas mileage got worse and worse. . .prbly going to be about $600 to fix . .hoping to get more than 13 mpg after the problem is fixed
