My 2005 Envoy which I now call "Christine" after the horror movie, was bought in 2005 and I was very happy about it because it had a lot of room and it would go great in the snow and I live in Western Pa where we get A LOT of snow and it's all up and down hills. So I am driving home from work one day and I happen to look down cause something had caught my eye. There was a red "N" on the selector for the 4WD. I also noticed earlier that it was driving kind of funny. A little rough. I didn't think anything of it because I thought it was from all the snow and salt on the road. I don't know. So I call OnStar tell them about the problem and as I am sitting in a parking lot, with the car in Park. I can watch the lights on the display that shows 2hi, 4WD, 4 Hi, 4 Low dancing all around like it was possessed (hence the name Christine). It finally went back into the regular 2 hi and they said it was OK to drive home (about 30 mins). So I take it to the dealer ASAP. They take a look and say that they need to replace the transfer case. Ok, whatever, just replace it. I know that these things do tend to die. So I was ok with it, cause it was fixed and my warranty covered it. BUT THEN.... (read my 3rd complaint)
