Contact owns a 2003 GMC Envoy. There was a recall on the windshield wiper module. There was a potential for water to leak in. When the vehicle had approximately 20,000 miles, the recall repair was performed. At 60,000 when using the windshield wiper washer, it continued to engage until the pump burned out. The windshield wiper module was disconnected. He called GM stated and told them that when the recall was performed the mechanic sealed moisture in and it corroded. The dealer confirmed that it corroded and needed to replace the wiper module. The dealer refused to repair it again at no cost to the owner. The dealer information is not available. The current and failure mileages were 75,000. Updated 11/1/07
