My door panels have been vibrating since day 1. The Bose system has much more power than the stock system and creates an annoying vibration / rattle in the door panels. I have the bass at max, the mid frequency at flat, and the treble at max. I'm playing with these setting and even at a very low volume, the door panels rattle. When I had brought it to a dealer they said GM had a fix for my VIN number. The ordered the part, installed it and have washed their hands ever since. They are telling me the solution is to lower the bass. I find that to be a ridiculous answer. It's not that powerful of a system for the panels to be vibrating and I'm not turning the volume up past 25%.
Here's the thing... one day I had the Service Manager in my car, and he verified the sound the panels were making. He went and got another identical vehicle, we set the audio system to the same settings and played the same music and it didn't vibrate or make those annoying rattle sounds. I'm completely confused how now they are saying to just live with it by turning the bass down.
