This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a ?Service Emission System" or "Service Exhaust Fluid System" warning messages on the Driver's Information Center. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P20E8 set. Technician should follow published Service Information diagnostics for the Diagnostic Trouble Code. Technician will also inspect the Diesel Exhaust Fluid pump part number. If the part number on the pump is not 84148452 the pump will need to be replaced.
