This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have the check engine lamp being illuminated. If the technician finds Diagnostic Trouble Code P16F3 with or without other codes in the Engine Control Module, technician should check to see if updated calibrations are available for the Engine Control Module.
