CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 GMC Canyon has a significant trend of transmission problems.
Most owners reporting transmission problems with their 2015 Canyon report sluggish shifting or other similar problems with the truck not shifting properly. Although most of these 2015 Canyon trucks are still under warranty, it's not a good sign.
The GMC Canyon is mechanically identical to the Chevy Colorado.
I bought my first brand new GMC and it was a 2015 Canyon on late Nov. 2014. About less than 3weeks later, while using my windshield wiper during a raining day, the driver side blade started to rub against the windshield making the loud noise sounded like the blade need to replace. I drop the truck off at the dealer and while showing them my windshield problem, I notice the two rubber lines on the roof is coming off the roof. This brings horrible feelings to me because this is my first brand new vehicle ever. I am in contact with GMC now and hoping they would give me a replacement truck. Will update...
