GMC TSB #15595
2015 GMC Canyon
TSB Document:
Affected Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION
- Summary
- These vehicles may experience loss of power steering assist at startup or while driving due to a poor electrical connection within the torque-sensor harness connector. If power steering assist is lost or reduced, steering control can still be maintained but would require an increased steering effort, particularly at lower speeds, which presents a greater risk of a crash. To correct this condition, dealers will replace steering gear pinion sensor cover assembly.
