The contact owns a 2010 GMC Canyon. The contact noticed that the vehicle did not have a skid plate installed on the undercarriage that would protect the front differential and transfer case. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where he was informed that all of the vehicles were manufactured without the skid plate. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 0 and the current mileage was 350.
