I was driving to the grocery store with my kids and the car flashed multiple warnings about various systems going bad. I pulled into the parking lot of the Safeway and cut the car off. The car would not turn back on. The battery voltage said 11.5 volts which are not enough to crank the car. A helpful person gave me a jump but while driving home I noticed the battery voltage never raising above 12 volts. I made it home and turned off my car and it would not crank up again.
I took a voltage meter and the battery was reading at 11 volts. I figured the battery was bad and it was Sunday so I could not call the dealership. The battery was not 3 years old yet and I just bought the car in Oct. 2018. I replaced the battery myself so I could get to work the following day. I contacted the dealership and they told me that to have the battery covered I would need to have brought the battery and car to the dealership and miss work. I had the receipt from AutoZone which showed the battery test they performed but that was not good enough. So I had to eat around $250 dollars for a good high-end battery. The warning from my car went away once the battery was replaced. Again not happy with this car; I am starting to feel like it was a big mistake to buy this car.
