My rims are peeling which began about 30,000 miles. I attempted to contact my local dealership which handles all my maintenance but never received a return call. Finally at 36000 miles i was able to get assistance from a Service Manager. However, when he attempted to file a claim with GMC they denied it saying it was due to cleaner. This is not true as many people have had this issue and it was covered under the warranty. My warranty ended a few hundred miles ago. GMC was rude and disrespectful. I asked to speak to someone higher up and Carla at GMC indicated she was the final decision maker. Is this really how GMC an American company treats their customers? This is a know defect which many have stated was covered but GMC is unwilling to work with me. Very frustrating and won't purchase another GMC product. As I am currently fighting this issue the gear shifter went out and my dealership is having difficulty finding the part. This too is a known defect.
