Two weeks after we purchased the Acadia we were shopping, when we came out, the doors would not unlock. About 10 min later they unlocked but would not recognize our keyless remote, no power of any kind. Called dealer/salesman he thought I may have lost power to the remote. After about 20 min everything kicked in and off we went.

Then last Saturday I stopped to get out and it again said, remote not found. So I started car again and turned it off, still remote not found. The doors would not lock but was at a small shop, so I went into the store and did what I had to do. When I came out and got in the car and shut the door, all doors locked. I had no power and I could not get out of the vehicle. The store owner came over to me because my vehicle was blocking the receiving bay and my window was down a bit so I let him know I was locked in the car and could not get out, plus I had no power. Everything was locked up and not even OnStar would work.

I called GMC service dept. They have not heard of this happening, but said it is a very serious safety issue. This is a very scary thing to have happen. If one was in an accident or if something caught fire and you could not get out of the car. That is definitely a serious issue!!!!!! The car is in their shop right now, but I am very concerned about driving this vehicle even if they say it is fixed.
