The all wheel drive suddenly turned off . I was driving up a steep grade to get home and halfway up the hill I lost traction. There was 2 feet of snow and the temperature was about 20 degrees...
Update from Jan 7, 2016: Took the car to the GMC dealer service department. The computer did not show any indication of a problem. Was asked to return to the service department if the all wheel drive turned off again - leave the car running with the dash display so the technician could see it.
