Purchased 2011 GMC Acadia brand new in Aug 2011. It now has 20,800 miles on it. The driver seat already had to be fixed due to squeezing noises a month into the purchase. The motor for the rear hatch has had to be replaced already after fighting with GM about it. I was told that since it was cold outside at the time it was normal for the motor for the rear hatch to get cold and make clunking noises while functioning. That is funny because the motor for the back hatch is inside the vehicle where the heater is! Not to mention the numerous recalls for air bags, seat belts, shifter linkages, and now the windshield wipers do not work. Found this out the hard way. 50 miles from home in a down poor. Not a fun drive! General Motors say since the factory warranty expired three months ago, it is now my problem.
Folks take it from me, stay away from General Motors products from now on. I have three vehicles from 2004 to 2011 with nothing but issues and none of them have over 40,000 miles. They are all junk!
