During previous winter, started car, heard loud wooshing sound coming from engine, Smelled a burning, chemical smell. Thought either heater core or AC leak. Heater kept working. When summer came around, AC not working. Took to mechanic and was was told that AC line that wraps around from rear of car to engine needed to be replaced, it had ruptured and all the coolant had leaked out. Quoted at 650 dollars for repair.
