The contact owns a 2009 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that the vehicle would jerk violently intermittently. The contact noticed that there was water leaking from underneath the vehicle. Additionally, the power steering assist would sporadically seize accompanied by an abnormal noise when completing a turn. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was advised that the water pump and ignition coil needed to be replaced. An unknown repair was made to the steering component to rectify the failure. On a separate occasion, the vehicle was taken to the dealer for routine service where the dealer advised that the tie rods failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
