The contact owns a 2009 GMC Acadia. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the check engine light illuminated as the vehicle decelerated and sputter. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on multiple occasions. The ignition coil was replaced but the failure recurred. The contact indicated that after experiencing the same failures, the dealer diagnosed that the fuel pump module was faulty. After replacing the fuel pump module, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who then diagnosed that the transmission would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 30,072.
