The electrical crimp type connectors were over crimped breaking the wire or conductor inside the insulation creating a short / open. This was first on the drivers side door and now as of the beginning of the year we have been having issues with the passenger side window and as well as the door locks.
My 2002 Ford Windstar back windows are supposed to open by a button on the front driver's door. They do on occasion work but more often than not they are inoperable.
As new as this car is, I have had yet another problem, the driver's side automatic window will not roll down. The little expensive motor was burnt out! No I do not go to THAT many drive thrus! It happened right after the original warranty expired, and cost about 450.00 to repair. Now that its repaired, it will occasionally make a grinding sound as the window rolls down!
